SUMMARY:BMRC CLASSICS IN ASSOCIATION WITH JOHN SURTEES
DESCRIPTION:Burpham Motor Racing Club (BMRC) is holding its third Clas
 sic Car and Motorbike Show in Burpham near Arundel, West Sussex on Sun
 day 2nd September 2012.  This year, we are proud to announce that Joh
 n Surtees will be in attendance, and the show will be in support of hi
 s charity, The Henry Surtees Foundation. We will be honored with a fly
  past from the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight, a Lancaster Bomber, 
 Hurricane and Spitfire.\n \nFor this unique event, John & the BMRC wi
 ll be bringing together a collection of his racing cars and motorbikes
  to create a special Formula 1 Paddock. In addition, we will be holdin
 g a ticketed talk with John to celebrate his racing career, to include
  an autograph signing session. Also in paddock we shall have Michael S
 chumacher's F1 2006 Ferrari show car on display and in addition, membe
 rs of the public will get the chance to experience the pressure of a t
 imed F1 wheel change in The Pit Stop Challenge, with the fastest chang
 e of the day winning a prize. The Vintage Mobile Cinema will also show
  a marvelous collection of motor films through out the day including a
  short documentary on John Surtees, and as a special feature, “Dream
  Rides” offers the public the chance to ride in the car of their dre
 ams on a ten-mile trip in return for a donation to The Henry Surtees F
 oundation.\n \nOver 200 fabulous classic cars and motorbikes bikes wi
 ll be on display, from Vintage vehicles from the 30’s to Future Clas
 sics. We are also delighted that the Ferrari Owners Cub will be joinin
 g us too with a magnificent parade of their super cars. There will al
 so be a collection of historic Police vehicles on display as part of S
 ussex Police’s Bike Safe initiative.\nEvery year we celebrate a deca
 de; this year, the “Festival of the 40’s” will feature a full si
 ze Mk 9 Spitfire from Simply Spitfire, a photo opportunity if ever the
 re was one! If you have ever dreamt of flying in this iconic plane, th
 en why not have a go in our professional Spitfire simulator courtesy o
 f Spitsim. Acclaimed dancers “Jive Swing” will be offering free le
 ssons by our Tea Dance Tent, as well as putting on a stunning cabaret 
 of Jitterbug and Lindy hop. Live music will be provided by “The Thre
 e Belles”, a 1940s vocal trio inspired by The Andrews Sisters, as we
 ll as the legends that are “The Gents”, whilst “Viv the Spiv” 
 will host and compare. And there’s plenty of opportunity to get into
  that vintage look too with The Vintage Hair Lounge, Eye Spy glasses a
 nd the Vintage Revival Clothing Company, and of course there will be w
 onderful collection of military vehicles on display, including an Ande
 rson shelter too!\n \nWe will also have “The Village”, tented mar
 quees and outside pitches, with high quality exhibitors dealing in eve
 rything from stunning classic motorbikes to quality car care products,
  beautiful jewelry to fine country clothing. And our fabulous street f
 ood outlets will serve you throughout the day,  everything in fact to
  tickle your taste buds!
