DESCRIPTION:At deva we attract a fantastic range of Volkswagen (air an
 d water) and hot rod / american custom show cars. Our venue at Shrewsb
 ury Showground is an 80 acre greenfield site which during the second w
 eekend each June comes alive with a weekend packed full of family and 
 car related activities! The showground is located just 10 mins walk fr
 om the market town of Shrewsbury.   The weekend kicks off on the after
 noon of Friday the 8th June (gates open from 2 pm) where you have chan
 ce to set up your camp and start to enjoy the unique vibe that is Deva
  Dubs n Rods. On Friday evening the entertainment starts with BB’s &
  JDG’s VW Related pub quiz in the main bar followed by 3 professiona
 l circuit comedians and we end the evening with a few tunes if time al
 lows.  Saturday will bring you a wealth of traders from all over the U
 K, our daily driver show and shine (with top 10 trophies), the fun fai
 r will be in full flow, we have our bike race with a difference, the i
 nter club 5 a side football competition, the evening this year will ag
 ain see JDG and the Narni Shakers host our infamous and fun themed dis
 co the theme for this year is something a bit different that hasn't be
 en done before - Theme will be announced soon!!!  Sunday is the main s
 how day where you will see a stunning array of show cars in the centra
 l arena, the quality of which is just jaw dropping! Of course the trad
 ers will be busy selling their wares we have some great catering, a ch
 ildrens magician, our charity auction in aid of BRADS Cancer Foundatio
 n, then there is the autojumble, cars 4 sale, club and themed displays
