 gural event in 2011 was a tremendous success, attracting 12,000 people
  who basked in the Donington sunshine for two days of action-packed hi
 storic racing with 300+ cars out on track. While the organisers can’
 t guarantee the same idyllic weather, the 2012 Festival is guaranteed 
 to deliver an equally thrilling array of huge grids of the cream of Eu
 rope’s historic single-seaters, sportscars and touring cars, all bat
 tling it out around this hugely popular and exciting circuit in the ha
 nds of some of the top drivers in the sport.\nCar clubs were another i
 mportant focus for the first Festival, with hundreds of classics from 
 38 clubs forming a fabulous display in the infield and entertaining th
 e crowd with parade laps, and the event organisers are keen to build o
 n this for 2012. With fantastic racing, a decidedly car club-friendly 
 atmosphere, a superb location and attractions on site such as the Doni
