DESCRIPTION:As the season begins to wind down Shakespeare County Racew
 ay presents another of its no pressure fun weekends for all owners of 
 quick cars and bikes as well as clubs to attend.\nThe California Look 
 Drag Day is a drag racing event based around the spirit of 60’s and 
 70’s California, surrounded by fire breathing Aircooled Race cars an
 d Cal Lookers held at Warwickshire's Shakespeare County Raceway. Besid
 es the normal RWYB racing is open to flat four VW powered vehicles tha
 t are capable of completing the ¼ mile in under 15.99 seconds. This e
 vent is ALL ABOUT RACING, aimed at the true petrol heads of the VW sce
 ne. The camaraderie of fellow racers and the roar of the flat four is 
 the entertainment, dressing up is strictly limited to race suits and h
 elmets. Any dancing which takes place, is from inside the vehicle and 
 involves a steering wheel and an attempt to launch in a straight line.
  We hope to welcome as many of Europe’s finest Hot VW’s along to t
 he raceway for this, the second of two yearly VW Cal Look Drag Days. S
 o let the DKW Birthday celebrations begin. \n Public Track Weekend: R
 acing a mate over the quarter mile is still the purest and easiest way
  to get a genuine racing fix. Open to all makes and models of cars and
  motorcycles (literally ANY motor where talking about), the weekend's 
 Test & Tune gives you the thrill and competitive straight line speed w
 ithout getting zapped by those annoying road side cameras or getting a
 n unnecessary speeding ticket! The only cameras pointing at you will b
 e the track side photographers. And the only tickets you'll receive wi
 ll be your own personal performance printout registering your reaction
  time, 60ft, eighth mile and overall time and speed. Its fast and its 
 accessible to a variety of ages and vehicles in a safe and legal envir
 onment. It really is as simple as that. Car and motorcycle clubs are w
 elcome to come along and display or give it a blast down the drag stri
 p! Just give us a call.  Get Your Club Involved: If you are looking fo
 r a venue to hold a club day, then look no further and combine your ne
 xt meeting with one of our Run What Ya Brung weekends. we can offer yo
 ur club your own dedicated club area. The only cost to you would be th
 e normal £12 admission fee and £25/£40 sign-on fee for unlimited ru
 ns of the track. After each run on the track your members will receive
  a performance printout so you'll be able to organise your own Run Wha
 t Ya Brung competition and award the quickest and fastest racer of the
