SUMMARY:The Brighton Speed Trails
DESCRIPTION:The Speed Trials starts early. As a competitor i turn up a
 round 7am as there is lots to do before we get going; signing on, fitt
 ing timing strut, etc.\nIf you are a competitor with a trailer then pl
 ease do turn up early. You need to get unloaded and your car into its 
 rightful place, and then your tow car and trailer must be left up the 
 end of Madeira Drive in the car park, sealed off until the end of the 
 day. As you can imagine, 50 people doing this makes for a complete sha
 mbles, hence turning up early!\nOfficially practice starts at 9am and 
 is in no particular order (unlike the timed runs that go in class orde
 r) but the public can get through the gates from about 8am. Before I u
 sed to compete I preferred turning up early to spectate as you can wal
 k the paddock while its relatively deserted and see all the amazing ca
 rs and bikes. Its starts to fill in earnest from about 11am. Vague run
 ning times for the day go like this:\n\n7.30am\n \nSigning on\n\n9am\
 n \nPractice\n\n11.30am\n \n1st Timed Runs\n\n1pm - 1.50pm\n \nLunc
 h Break\n\n2pm\n \nTimed Runs continue\n\n6pm\n \nFinish\n\n\n\n \n
 \nTickets\nYou cannot buy tickets for the Speed Trials in advance, but
  you'll be fine to turn up on the day. We've never turned anyone down!
