SUMMARY:The Thundersprint Bike Show
DESCRIPTION:he Thundersprint is one of the biggest events in Europe bu
t we still keep to our original idea of having a huge, friendly party
to which everyone is welcome. Let's stress that point. The Thunderspri
nt is for everyone- young, old, hard core race fans, classic enthusias
ts or simply anyone wanting a wonderful day's entertainment\nTriple Br
itish Champion Ryuichi Kiyonari enjoys himself at the Thundersprint!\n
You won't see any in-your-face-activities at the Thundersprint. We spe
cialise in Maypole dancing rather than Pole Dancing! What you will fin
d is incredibly exciting motorcycle sprint racing right in the town ce
ntre, a huge trade area, masses of entertainment for the children, fin
e food and the unmissable Thundersprint Cavalcade of Motorcycling Hist
ory.\nFirst, a critical issue for everyone these days: cost. Despite b
eing a world class event the Thundersprint has completely free admissi
on. Parking too is free of charge in Cheshire West and Chester Council
controlled parking areas - although some local companies do charge fo
r using their private car parks. The choice is yours, of whether you w
ish to pay or not.\nThe main parking areas are well sign posted into N
orthwich from every direction.\nThe Thundersprint sets out to welcome
the whole community and so we have excellent disabled parking, and vie
wing, right in the town centre. Because of the pressures on space, we
would ask that you respect these areas and only use them if you have a
real need.\nThe whole of the Thundersprint is completely pedestrianis
ed, with the emphasis being on providing a safe environment for those
who are perhaps not quite as nimble as they once were, children and fa
milies. Right in the centre of the show Adelaide Gardens is kept as a
quiet, peaceful area where you can take a break from the excitement of
the rest of the event.\nDisabled toilets are at the bottom of Adelaid
e Gardens outside Marks and Spencer's store, and inside the Salvation
Army Citadel which is at the other side of Adelaide Gardens. There is
a wheelchair viewing area, and a disabled toilet, adjacent to the gran
dstand sited on the outside of the race track, by the first right-hand
bend.\nInside the Salvation Army Citadel is a \"Mums and Babies\" are
a where little ones can be serviced and cared for. It's also a quiet a
rea where Mum, and maybe Dad too, can take a peaceful five minutes jus
t to collect their thoughts before joining the action again. We rememb
er our own \"Baby Days\" and so have provided what we would have liked
for ourselves all those years ago.\n\nFor more information visit http
