Burpham Motor racing club is proud to welcome racing legend Derek Bell for its inaugural club talk the George & Dragon pub, Burpham, West Sussex (BN18 9RR) on Monday 19th September at 7.30-8.00pm.
Derek Bell was extremely successful in Sportscar racing winning five times at Le Mans. He also raced in Formula One for the Ferrari, McLaren, and Surtees teams. Bell was one of many drivers to take part in the filming of Le Mans (1970) starring Steve McQueen. He has been described as one of the most liked drivers of his generation and is a regular guest at the Goodwood Revival & Festival of Speed.
