"Motoring enthusiasts are being invited to take a break from the turkey and tinsel with a special Boxing Day celebration at the Lakeland Motor Museum. Located at the southerntip of England’s longest lake, Windermere, the attraction with be hosting a ‘Classic Drive and Ride In Day’ on Friday 26 December. The event is open to the proud owners of classic cars, trucks, vans and motorbikes, as well as more recent hot hatches, superminis and high performance sports cars.
There is no need to book and there is plenty of free parking for owners to display their pride and joy. Participating drivers and their passengers will also receive vouchers for half-price admission to the Museum itself, which is usually £8.00 for adults and £5.00 for children.Two similar events earlier in the year each saw around 100 motor cars and motorcycles come together to provide a diverse display of favourite marques outside the Motor Museum."
