Land Speed Record Weekend

23 July 2011 to 24 July 2011 The ever popular Land Speed Record Weekend is back, to kick start the Summer holidays with a sonic boom!

The full programme of events is below and includes a fascinating talk by Richard Noble, the former World Land Speed Record holder, and key figure in the Bloodhound team that is currently working towards breaking the 1000mph land speed mark.

The talk will take place on Sunday 24 July at 12noon, and tickets are £5.50 per person.

We'll be there and we'll be bring along the full size BloodhoundSSC show car and other little for toys for people to look. We'll also have the Bloodhound Driving Experience (simulator) if you fancy driving a car at 1000 mph.
