OVER 230 ENTRIES FOR ORMSKIRK MOTORFEST

A unique motor sport extravaganza comes to a West Lancashire market town!

Organised by Aintree Circuit Club and supported by West Lancashire Borough Council, this free family event, Ormskirk MotorFest, takes place in the West Lancashire market town on Sunday 28th August (Bank Holiday Weekend).
A stunning array of cars and motor cycles will be displayed on the town centre streets and Coronation Park from 11am, and a one mile lap around the town will see controlled parades from 2.30pm to 4.30pm.
Top attractions include a former 1978 World Champion Alan Jones Saudia Williams F1 car and a 1964 BRM P261, and the Tom Boardman SEAT Leon 2011 Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship team.

Eight times World Motor Cycle Champion Phil Read M.B.E. will be celebrity guest, and will take his 500cc Paton motorcycle on parade laps.
"The sight and sound of the Grand Prix cars and other competition machinery, lapping around the town and past Ormskirk Parish Church, will be awesome", said Event Co-ordinator John Bailie.
