With the winter season behind us and spring just around the corner its time to throw off the dust sheets, swing open the garage doors and head on down to Shakespeare County Raceway for the Season Opening Public Track Day Test & Tune.
Open to all makes and models of cars and motorcycle, the season opening Test & Tune gives you the thrill and competitive straight line speed without getting zapped by those annoying road side cameras or getting an unnecessary speeding ticket! The only cameras pointing at you will be the track side photographers. And the only tickets you'll receive will be your own personal performance printout registering your reaction time, 60ft, eighth mile and overall time and speed. Its fast and its accessible to a variety of ages and vehicles in the safe and legal environment. Car and motorcycle clubs are welcome to come along and display or take to the track! Just give us a call.
Making their third appearance at the raceway are the 60 plus riders and their modified machines who make up the Suzuki Bandit Owners Club racing for trophies, ET's and ownership pride. Joining the them in race combat will be the slightly older, but still as quick, riders from the National Sprint Association; one of the oldest biking groups in the UK racing both classic and modern day machinery.
The Honda Drag Series gets its first outing of the season along with the new kids Junior Dragster League and those nice fellows from Outlaw Street.
PLEASE NOTE: All RWYB drivers regardless of cars, times and speeds are required to wear a crash helmet in order to compete on the track. Helmet hire is available at the track on the day for a nominal fee. Contact us for further details or take a look at our Essential Guide on the RWYB information page. Also, don’t forget your Driving Licence! Remember No Licence No Race!

“The Voice” & His Vehicles
Frank Sinatra was called “The Voice” from early in his career. He was heard on his first recording with the Harry James Band singing “All Or Nothing At All” which sold about 8,000 copies that year, later to sell millions as he became better known. As he became famous with the Tommy Dorsey Orchestra, we have few hints on his growing interest in classy cars. He and his wife Nancy…

Twenty-thirteen has been an eventful year for the automotive world. We've seen birthdays: The iconic Porsche 911 hit 50, and Aston Martin has made it to 100.
Many interesting cars have been released, from the nippy Ford Fiesta ST, through the breathtaking Jaguar F Type range, right through to the next generation of hypercars. Mclaren, Ferrari and Porsche have proven that a hybrid is no longer the exclusive preserve of the eco-hatchbacks, whilst setting blisteringly fast Nurburgring…
