The Stratford Festival of Motoring will again take place over the May bank holiday weekend which for 2015 will be Sunday 3rd and Monday 4th May.
Organised by StratForward, (the town's Business Improvement District), the event will see more than 300 classic and special interest vehicles on display throughout the historic town.
The two-day Festival will again feature two "runs" through stunning Warwickshire and Gloucestershire countryside although the routes haven't been announced yet.
Some of the cars that attracted the most interest in 2014 had either V8 or V12 engines, so for 2015 we have decided to have a theme of 'V Powered' vehicles and want to attract at least 100 V-Engined vehicles to the Festival. This should include everything from V Twin powered motorbikes and Morgan 3 wheelers, through V4 Saabs, V6 Alfa Romeos and Fords, V8 American muscle cars and Ferraris, up to V12 engined Jaguars and Aston Martins.
This does mean that cars without V Engines will be excluded as these should only be about 1/3rd of all the vehicles involved in the Festival.
We plan to repeat the extremely successful 'cavalcade' of cars around the town centre which was much enjoyed by participants and visitors alike.

“The Voice” & His Vehicles
Frank Sinatra was called “The Voice” from early in his career. He was heard on his first recording with the Harry James Band singing “All Or Nothing At All” which sold about 8,000 copies that year, later to sell millions as he became better known. As he became famous with the Tommy Dorsey Orchestra, we have few hints on his growing interest in classy cars. He and his wife Nancy…

Twenty-thirteen has been an eventful year for the automotive world. We've seen birthdays: The iconic Porsche 911 hit 50, and Aston Martin has made it to 100.
Many interesting cars have been released, from the nippy Ford Fiesta ST, through the breathtaking Jaguar F Type range, right through to the next generation of hypercars. Mclaren, Ferrari and Porsche have proven that a hybrid is no longer the exclusive preserve of the eco-hatchbacks, whilst setting blisteringly fast Nurburgring…
