All TVR enthusiasts and Wedge owners in particular are invited to Big Bad Wedge Fest 2012 – now in its eight successive year, a testimony to this events popularity and the tenacity of the organisers who do sterling work each year to ensure owners and enthusiasts alike have a great weekend. So why not join them on the last weekend of June 2012 to see some of the loudest and least politically correct creations ever to leave the Bristol Road factory.
Maybe the Wedges angular styling isn't to everyone's taste, in fact many people are deeply divided on the subject - a little akin to 'Marmite', you either love it or you hate it. However it’s not all about the styling. Over an 11 year production period some 14 different model variations were produced and significantly Wedges were the cars that brought V8 power back under the bonnet of a TVR after a 16 year absence.
It was not until 1984 when Peter Wheeler first shoehorned the 3.5L Buick motor into a V6 Tasmin shell that a TVR had rumbled to the sound of V8 power, not since Martin Lilley created the Ford powered Wide Bodied Tuscan of 1967/70! In our view this makes the Wedge a truly milestone model in the history of TVR and should be celebrated as such and BBWF is an ideal opportunity for us to do just that – so why not join the party?
You’re sure to be welcome and who knows you may just discover you like Marmite after all!

“The Voice” & His Vehicles
Frank Sinatra was called “The Voice” from early in his career. He was heard on his first recording with the Harry James Band singing “All Or Nothing At All” which sold about 8,000 copies that year, later to sell millions as he became better known. As he became famous with the Tommy Dorsey Orchestra, we have few hints on his growing interest in classy cars. He and his wife Nancy…

Twenty-thirteen has been an eventful year for the automotive world. We've seen birthdays: The iconic Porsche 911 hit 50, and Aston Martin has made it to 100.
Many interesting cars have been released, from the nippy Ford Fiesta ST, through the breathtaking Jaguar F Type range, right through to the next generation of hypercars. Mclaren, Ferrari and Porsche have proven that a hybrid is no longer the exclusive preserve of the eco-hatchbacks, whilst setting blisteringly fast Nurburgring…
