The newly-branded Classic Dirt Bike Show sponsored by Hagon Shocks is a must for any off-road enthusiast. Packed halls at Telford’s International Centre will welcome showgoers on the weekend of February 20-21 as traders and jumble sellers come together to offer parts, pieces and spares for nearly every project, along with riding gear, clothing and accessories.
As visitors wander around the venue they’ll have a chance to rub shoulders with their heroes as several legends of off-road sport will be in attendance. Nick Jefferies, Jim Aird and Wayne le Marquand are set to appear on both days of the show being interviewed by Classic Dirt Bike editor Tim Britton. On Sunday, former speedway ace Barry Briggs will share tales from an incredible and varied career as he participates in on-stage discussions with Eric Boocock and Bill Brown… it promises to be a lively chat!
The four special guests are also part of the traditional Saturday evening dinner which takes place at Telford’s Holiday Inn, just a stone’s throw from the International Centre. Each will speak during the evening which also includes a three course meal followed by coffee. Tickets are on sale now.
Back to the show itself and as well as the many bargains on offer, club stands and private entrants will be displaying a variety of classic bikes from across the various disciplines, including a road-racing element.
New show sponsor Hagon Shocks also has plans to bring together rare Hagon bikes from across the decades, so anyone who owns an example is encouraged to get in touch.

As he became famous with the Tommy Dorsey Orchestra, we have few hints on his growing interest in classy cars. He and his wife Nancy…

Twenty-thirteen has been an eventful year for the automotive world. We've seen birthdays: The iconic Porsche 911 hit 50, and Aston Martin has made it to 100.
Many interesting cars have been released, from the nippy Ford Fiesta ST, through the breathtaking Jaguar F Type range, right through to the next generation of hypercars. Mclaren, Ferrari and Porsche have proven that a hybrid is no longer the exclusive preserve of the eco-hatchbacks, whilst setting blisteringly fast Nurburgring…
