he Thundersprint is one of the biggest events in Europe but we still keep to our original idea of having a huge, friendly party to which everyone is welcome. Let's stress that point. The Thundersprint is for everyone- young, old, hard core race fans, classic enthusiasts or simply anyone wanting a wonderful day's entertainment
Triple British Champion Ryuichi Kiyonari enjoys himself at the Thundersprint!
You won't see any in-your-face-activities at the Thundersprint. We specialise in Maypole dancing rather than Pole Dancing! What you will find is incredibly exciting motorcycle sprint racing right in the town centre, a huge trade area, masses of entertainment for the children, fine food and the unmissable Thundersprint Cavalcade of Motorcycling History.
First, a critical issue for everyone these days: cost. Despite being a world class event the Thundersprint has completely free admission. Parking too is free of charge in Cheshire West and Chester Council controlled parking areas - although some local companies do charge for using their private car parks. The choice is yours, of whether you wish to pay or not.
The main parking areas are well sign posted into Northwich from every direction.
The Thundersprint sets out to welcome the whole community and so we have excellent disabled parking, and viewing, right in the town centre. Because of the pressures on space, we would ask that you respect these areas and only use them if you have a real need.
The whole of the Thundersprint is completely pedestrianised, with the emphasis being on providing a safe environment for those who are perhaps not quite as nimble as they once were, children and families. Right in the centre of the show Adelaide Gardens is kept as a quiet, peaceful area where you can take a break from the excitement of the rest of the event.
Disabled toilets are at the bottom of Adelaide Gardens outside Marks and Spencer's store, and inside the Salvation Army Citadel which is at the other side of Adelaide Gardens. There is a wheelchair viewing area, and a disabled toilet, adjacent to the grandstand sited on the outside of the race track, by the first right-hand bend.
Inside the Salvation Army Citadel is a "Mums and Babies" area where little ones can be serviced and cared for. It's also a quiet area where Mum, and maybe Dad too, can take a peaceful five minutes just to collect their thoughts before joining the action again. We remember our own "Baby Days" and so have provided what we would have liked for ourselves all those years ago.

“The Voice” & His Vehicles
Frank Sinatra was called “The Voice” from early in his career. He was heard on his first recording with the Harry James Band singing “All Or Nothing At All” which sold about 8,000 copies that year, later to sell millions as he became better known. As he became famous with the Tommy Dorsey Orchestra, we have few hints on his growing interest in classy cars. He and his wife Nancy…

Twenty-thirteen has been an eventful year for the automotive world. We've seen birthdays: The iconic Porsche 911 hit 50, and Aston Martin has made it to 100.
Many interesting cars have been released, from the nippy Ford Fiesta ST, through the breathtaking Jaguar F Type range, right through to the next generation of hypercars. Mclaren, Ferrari and Porsche have proven that a hybrid is no longer the exclusive preserve of the eco-hatchbacks, whilst setting blisteringly fast Nurburgring…
